About the role
Role: Python Developer or Backend Developer Location: Fully Remote position Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension to 1 year Project: Backend working heavily in AWS, they are building a monitoring solution for ETL jobs -> there are several tools that capture the data and are building out how they pull the logs (data) in a unified fashion since right now each application pulls different Must Haves: • Strong Python • Strong AWS hands on dev from ground up of services like Lambda, ECS, S3 • DevOps & CI/CD knowledge + exp (docker or Jenkins good) • Kafka Nice to Haves: • coming from heavy data background • Team doesn’t use ETL tools but any additional knowledge / exp here is great Job Description: Front End Focus Mid to Senior level preferred (5-7 years minimum experience) Our leading Fortune 100 Financial Services is looking to bring on a Sr. Python Developer to assist in building out a cutting-edge monitoring solution Candidates we are targeting for this role demonstrate. • You yearn to be part of cutting edge, high profile projects and are motivated by delivering world-class solutions on an aggressive schedule • You have built full stack systems (preferably architected for speed and distributed computing), with demonstrated experience in software engineering. • You embrace DevOps principles, including continuous delivery and ongoing support of production applications • You love to learn new technologies, keep abreast of the latest technologies within cloud architecture, and drive your organization to adapt to emerging best practices Required Skills: • 5+ years of related experience with a technical degree in a related field. • Sr. Level Python knowledge and hands on development experience • Strong AWS experience, demonstrated history of developing services such as Lamba, ECS and S3 from the ground up Please feel free to call my mobile number listed below or email me with any questions about the Req.
