About the role
Role: Python developer ( need 6+ years candidates)(only W2) Vendor/Client: Apex/BNY Mellon. Contract: 12-month contract to hire. Location: Remote to start, then onsite in Woodland Park, NJ or New York City, NY. Must skills: They need to have Python, Django, and Flask experience. Top Requirements: Python – Problem solving within python, will be touching Pandas/Numpy potentially. Flask is a big plus, understanding multithreading SQL/NoSQL – team will push over to a mixed database layer, API – team is building micro services in the application layer. Flask, Django, SQL Alchemy, Nice to Have: Kafka – Pyspark, ETL, if they have touched big data it’s a huge plus. Team is not looking for a true data engineer, they need to be in the application layer while touching big data tools as a nice to have. Cloud is not required and more future state
