About the role
ROLE: PYTHON DEVELOPER VENDOR/CLIENT: APEX/WEX HEALTH DURATION: FULL TIME LOCATION: REMOTE SALARY: Perm $100k + 6% bonus Project Scope / Components: • Building a state of the art payment application from scratch. There are some legacy microservices that they will be maintaining, but they will primarily be working on new functions/features. o Creating payers, payees, transactions, etc. o Will also be doing some work on the customer portal Team Size & Breakdown: • There are currently 2 scrums teams: 9 software engineers, 2 leads. This resource will be part of the new scrum team • This resource will report directly to the Tech Lead • WEX is working on an Agile transformation so this team will follow al Agile/Scrum practices and ceremonies High-Level Individual Duties: • Attend stand ups and Agile ceremonies • Hands on development of the new payment application • Code maintenance on the legacy microservices Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Python/Django • REST API or GraphQL Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Golang • Kafka • Cloud Native app experience – AWS or Azure Thanks & Regards, Naveen Sai - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
