About the role
Client : Bank of America.
Duration: 12-18 months
Quantitative Services team is leading process automation initiatives that require identifying, researching and developing analytical and technical solution that enhance existing process, eliminate manual tasks and gain process efficiencies. An ideal candidate needs to have 2+ years of experience with metrics reporting and dashboard development using Tableau, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Python.
Responsibilities

• Partner with business partners as well as team members to identify analytic requirements and baseline metrics for executing new use cases and releases

• Source data from various data repositories, validate data for consistency, and partner with Technology teams to ensure data integrity and KPI calculations

• Create and deploy actionable dashboards and business performance metrics for different processes and stakeholders

• Correlate, interpret and summarize scorecard reports and quantify business outcomes for data-driven reporting

• Measure, Monitor and provide Metric Variance by Month/Quarter/Year and compute business KPIs, develop data flow diagrams, process diagrams and ways to ensure accurate reporting of metrics/KPIs for all existing and new BI reporting

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of system design, ETL and data ingestion techniques.

• Employ agile development practices and continuous deployment.

• Conduct process discovery discussions with business partners, troubleshoot problems and identify solutions that help enhance the process

• Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems
Requirements
-
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience with advanced Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics/Data Science or other quantitative discipline

• Experience with Python, SQL for both one-hit queries and ETL, Excel VBA experience.

• Data visualization skills and good experience using Tableau to develop or enhance reports

• Solid understanding of BI, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Facts/Dimensions, and Data Requirements from multiple stakeholders and consolidating them into KPIs, metric definitions, data sourcing, mapping to source databases as needed and querying source systems with good knowledge of SQL queries/joins/BI tools

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of information and conceptualize the impact across operational processes.
