What are the top six skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
At least 5 years of experience for all the following
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Groovy Experience with Selenium or any other automation testing frameworks. Experience with Behavior Driven Development for automation using Cucumber. Experience with configuration and integration of test suites to run on automated build tools like Jenkins. Experience with API testing tools. Postman is preferable. Proficient with writing and executing SQL queries to retrieve data from Relational/NoSQL databases. BS/MS in computer science or engineering (or equivalent professional experience)
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
Understanding of Junit and Spock Testing frameworks. Experience with Version control systems. GitHub is a plus. Experience with JIRA and Confluence Any level of experience with NoSQL data stores (Cassandra,) and/or Splunk is a plus. Experience performance testing using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools. Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) Proficient in Mac OS and/or IntelliJ for development DevOps infrastructure experience Highly accurate and detail oriented. Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
