About the role
QA Automation Test Architect Location: Remote Candidate need to work in CST time zone Minimum Requirements: · Overall years of experience shall be 12+ for this role · Experience as QA architect is at least 6+ years · At least 6 years’ experience as an Architect (does not have to be Automation-specific) · At least 6 years experiences creating and guiding strategic architecture solutions through implementation into tracked adoption states ·At least 6 years creating deliverables for standards, best practices, patterns, strategies, and diagrams. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field What will they do? · Makes recommendations for test automation architecture based on the alignment of test automation artifacts generated by the specific product team to upstream and downstream dependencies. · Understands modern coding and infrastructure practices and recommends environment, test data, stubbing and other test automation best practices. · Is familiar with tools that encourage follow coding best practices example lint or co pilot for git hub and has worked with codebases with large number of participants. · Builds standards enterprise-wide for resourcing requirements of team members taking the architectural guidance forward. · Understands the test execution infrastructure that exists, the additional tooling/applications needed, and delivers the improvement initiatives QE Leads take forward. · Can adapt easily to changing technologies, is curious and able to figure out implications of shifting application technology landscape on testing Should have experience with: · Developing and implementing the overall test automation strategy for an organization. · Ensuring the correct tools are chosen for test automation, taking into account factors such as: ease of use, integration with existing systems, and overall cost-effectiveness. · Developing and maintaining a test automation framework that is scalable, modular, and maintainable. · Determining the return on investment for test automation projects before starting any work. · Delivering the documentation needed for all teams to mature and drive cohesion of automation as teams scale.
