QA Automation Engineer

Job Description: • Create technical documentation including validation plan, test scripts, test cases and product validation plans • Work with Product Owners, Technical Architects/developers to test the solution(s) ensure optimal code coverage. • Ensure that validation plans test all the requirements (Functional and Non- Functional) • Execute test cases for integration, performance and stress testing and system upgrades • Validate the solutions prior to deployment and after deployments • Triage issues and help to determine root cause of the issues. • Work with test data and perform data analysis • This position is based in Oakland and expected to work from Oakland unless travelling to Medical Centers. • Travel may be required to some of the NCal TPMG Medical centers to execute validation activities. . Required Skills: • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related fields • 5+ years as a QA Engineer Analyst in a mid-large size enterprise/corporation. • Experience with Test Strategy, Test plan and test case creation, execution in agile environment • Hands-on automation solution development usinh Selenium, LoadRunner, Pupeteer or similar solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test plans, scripts and test cases, support knowledge base updated • 3+ years working with Agile, Scrum processes and experience in documenting use cases and test cases • Experience with incident management and tools like Service Now, JIRA, GIT • Excellent analytical skills to ensure root causes are identified for issues. • Excellent Excel skills to document metrics and trends. • Proficiency for documenting critical events, meetings and flows for communications and learnings. • Ensure requirements traceability is maintained in the validation test scripts and results • Create well-designed presentation and documentation templates • Excellent data analysis and • Proficiency in SQL to access relational DB • Experience with test data prep for SQL/ NoSQL databases Preferred Skills: • 3+ years Data, information and business/technology workflow modelling skills for large corporations • Proficiency with advanced Excel and data and analytics modelling skills • HealthCare/Medical Center/Hospital work domain knowledge (preferred, not required) • Skills with scripting languages, HTML, website development and collaboration tools such as Teams, Slack, SharePoint etc. are nice to have. • QA automation experience is a plus • Programming/scripting skills in any scripting tools (Python, JavaScript etc). • Expertise in testing a CI/CD micro-services-based environment is a plus
