About the role
- Automation testing on UI (verifying that adding code doesn’t break other parts of it etc.) – writing tests to automate that (filling out forms, opening websites, running through pages quickly, etc.) - Using framework called Night watch (JavaScript based) so will need JS experience – could be a previous UI dev open to moving into SDET type role or someone who’s used a angular or other JS testing framework in the pat. - Looking for someone who can head up their QA – had a team in the past but during COVID went down to primarily being on the developers so looking to have someone come in and be able to build up the QA process after a few months and really own it and determine new use cases, tests, etc. o Have some tests build out already they will start with and then update/build more from there - End-to-end testing on the UI will be where they focused – long-term and if they have the skills could maybe do some other testing in the future but that will really be the focus What are the top must-have technologies/required experience for the position? 1. JavaScript (Night watch preferred but other JS okay) 2. Automation experience (not concerned w/ what tool) Preferred qualifications: 1. DevOps experience Team Size & Structure: • On development team but will be sole dedicated QA resource working side by side with developers Level of experience target (junior/mid/senior and/or years of experience): 3+ years of experience minimum in QA/automation
