Project/Scope of Work:

This person will be supporting multiple initiatives from a high level. There will be no hands on testing: Early Access Program: This program upgrade a select group of customers to the lastest product versions and partners with them to identify and address bugs and defect. Will be working directly with customers Rollout SonarQube code quality gates – pulling data out of SonarQube into PowerBI and comparing it against JIRA and GitHub data to define code quality criteria. Need to roll this out and educate the teams on the criteria Lead a campaign to get product development teams to automate remaining manual test cases – about 4000 cases remain manual Document and define quality standards and best practices – right now different teams are filling out bug types and root causes differently in JIRA, need to align all teams on the definitions QE org is new as of March – the Test Engineering team develops the testing frameworks, dev teams do their own testing. This person will be coordinating between teams to identify and implement standards and best practices for the Quality Engineering practice across the enterprise Will be supporting 7+ million lines of code – enterprise level testing rather than testing a web application. The scale of work is very large Test frameworks are C# and Selenium based with some Specflow, Playwright, and Cypress Having these specific tools isn’t the most important. Priority is someone who understands programming, the SDLC process, the QA process, and is able to drive change

Must Haves:

Experience coming through the ranks of development or testing – should have a technical background and understand the SDLC Ideally should have experience with enterprise level software and large-scale applications Communication and soft skills are a must – need to be able to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams, interface with customers, influence and drive change, speak with authority SonarQube – should have some experience defining code quality gates
