QA TEST ENGINEER

Role: Sr QA Engineer (ETL) Location :100% Remote working in CST Time Zone. Duration :12 months’ contract ONLY ON W2 Required Skills: SQL ETL Testing (Talend a plus, but SSIS, Informatica, or Datastage OK) Tosca Preferred Azure Devops API Test Automation (Postman or similar) Banking or Financial Services experience preferred Job Description: Senior QA Engineer role with CIBC Bank working as a member of the Application Development team (Architect, Software Developers, Devops Engineer), this role is responsible for testing the products of the team including custom development and vended system integrations to ensure proper operation and freedom from software defects. The QA Analyst creates and executes test suites and scripts using the Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) tool and other tools that may be used at the Bank for software testing. The QA Engineer also has the skills necessary to create automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca and others tools utilized by the bank (Like Azure Devops). Position Summary: • Responsible for creation and execution of test suites and cases for business applications as assigned based upon functional requirements. • Determination of test case fail/pass based on expected outcomes. • Collaborating with the overall Application Development team to resolve any defects found. • Use the Bank’s testing tools such as MTM to document the test suites and cases and to collect the results. • Maintain test activities and results and compile these as requested for auditors and regulators • Engage with the overall Agile development methodology and workflow as part of the larger development and integration endeavors. • Assist in refining product deliverable definitions to ensure clarity to all stakeholders including QA Testers, business partners, and developers • Assist in defining testing activities/tasks for playbooks outlining the delivery execution roadmap for routine deliverables. Qualifications: • Experience validating databases and data warehouses, mainly on SQL Server. • Experienced with MTM testing suite or similar. • Experienced with SDLC as it applies to custom software development • Experienced with Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, or a similar development workflow tool. • Experience with ETL Testing (talend or similar ETL framework - SSIS, Informatica, Datastage), API Testing (postman) • Experience with Tosca is a plus (not required) • College degree required • Minimum of five years of experience required • Technology experience within financial services preferred __ _ _ Thanks & Regards, Suganya S / US IT RECRUITER Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
