About the role
Project Scope / Components: • Server configuration manager. Used to track configuration across multiple applications • Tool manager – used for app teams and production support to view and manage load balancing for applications. Use this tool to “direct traffic” from one data center to another • These are key components to the resiliency effort, highly visible, will be expanding a lot across more processes • Backlog of manual testing is huge. This person will be driving the shift from manual to automation to allow this team to use the framework that US Bank has already built out • .NET/Angular shop Team Size & Breakdown: • 4 people responsible for end to end SDLC Development Methodology: • Agile/Scrum – 2 week sprints High-Level Individual Duties: • Automation test development. Framework is built out but need someone to drive this team’s shift to automation. Need someone who can decide how to change the development workflow to integrate automation • Coach the team on automation and TDD • Converting manual tests to automation • Executing scripts and unit testing Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Selenium, Protractor, Speck Flow – US Bank framework is built on these, team doesn’t know them • Jenkins Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Programming - .NET and/or Angular
