Quality Analyst

Role: QA/SA Analyst Location: Chicago Duration: 12-18 months Must Haves: Design, develop and execute test cases and test plans based on functional specifications and design Analyse release notes, application requirements and designs to gain an understanding of the business process delivered within and release and create test cases to cover the processes delivered Develop and implement appropriate test methodologies, test plans and test cases which will ensure products released to customers are at high quality Validate data between integrated applications to ensure correct function and integrity Maintain traceability between test scripts and requirements Perform End to End validation of high value business processes through different stages Perform User Acceptance testing with stakeholders and obtain approvals Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configurations files, logs, or code to determine breakdown source Bug fix verification and validation Identify, manage, and prioritize defects with business and technology groups Identify test cases and scenarios, candidates for automation Work with the SDET to develop automated tests and continued enhancement of the automation framework Compile all test outcomes in an organized manner Report UAT progress, status, risks, and issues to the Product Owner, Project Manager, Accountable Executive, and other stakeholders Investigate and document defects and work with product team to prioritize and resolve defects.
