Role:React developer Location:100% REMOTE Duration:6 Months Contract to Hire VISA: US CITIZEN/GC/GC-EAD/H4-EAD(ON W2) INTERVIEW PROCESS: IKM Assessment, 1 interview with manager Must haves: React NodeJS Javascript Nice to have/WILL TEACH – AWS, docker, jenkins Job Description: Project Scope / Components: Less is a working framework for Agile. Idea is trying to introduce start up based mentality into the corporate world. Dev team is in control of what they’re doing,. No Project Manager but there will be a Product Owner for vision. No requirements gathering or elaborate user stories with Less. Want to make sure they’re good at self-management. Reach out to different parts of the business to figure out what needs to get done. They’re trying to get rid of hierarchy in corporations. They all work together; very flat team set up. Full stack on server side and client side. They know React. Hire two very high level senior developers. That depends on the personality though. Personality really matters. Confrontation – need to be able to self-review as a team. The developers are going to be giving weekly reviews to each other. The manager does people management, not day to day business aspect. He will be getting feedback from everyone individually and relaying it back to the team. Tech stack: primarily JavaScript working with React using NodeJS on the backend. Working with existing systems so having understanding of Java is useful. NodeJS can be learned. Unit test experience isn’t needed. Automated testing is what they’re moving towards. Really just wants a GOOD developer. They do nighttime releases but it will be maybe once a month. ~9pm to 10:30pm for this schedule. Less has dedicated training time for the team. A day a week. Requirements: High-Level Individual Duties: working in a team environment with no ego. Needs to have good self-management skills.
