Role: React Developer

Client: Bank of America Location: Remote start then Charlotte (Once it is safe to be onsite) Duration: 12 Months contract to hire

W2 Only During COVID it’s REMOTE

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, Express, NodeJS

Description: Applicant will be responsible for leading development of maintenance and greenfield React tools. Using modern development standards and tools developer will be building full stack enterprise applications using React, Express, and SQL Server. Application should be familiar with the standard deployment tools for enterprise development (Jenkins, Jira) and have the ability to manage work independently, participate in code reviews, and understand state management. Developer will be splitting time between resolving defects, taking on maintenance items for existing platforms, and building new tools to support business use cases.

Day to day: • refactoring, trying to get caught up to modern day practices- self learning - not a lot of feat bus driven - find things that you think can be improved • they have goals to automate process - implement new feat from other team - mostly internal stuff • the app has been around for about 10 yrs now --> • the app: its internal google analytics - they are bale to begin and create tracking info for ad campaigns (like on bofa.com - if there's a new ad on it, that link has tracking parameter - and the tracking info comes from their app) • need someone who is self-driven • there's a lot of updating code and refactoring • their team is different because they are a small internal team - they have more flexibility and access to do what they want • its a single page app
