React Developer

Position: Software Engineer- React Location: 100% Remotes (EST) Duration: 6 month contract to hire

W2 Only 100% REMOTE

Position Description: Our client is looking for a solid full-stack Ruby/React Software Developer. You will join their team to build the next generation of their platform. They are a small agile group with supportive, collaborative management and a passion for doing a good job. Primary Tasks and Responsibilities A day in the life:

• Build awesome products with a purpose • Manage projects that strive to give great user experiences, going beyond minimum requirements • Work as a team to get code reviewed and completed • Daily stand-ups in Slack • Planning meetings each sprint • What we’re looking for: • Desire to build a great user experience that goes above and beyond expectations • Good written and verbal communication and comfortable in a team environment • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and document deviations/abnormalities • Comfortable with a flexible agile working environment (moving cards through swimlanes, estimating, retrospectives) Position requires: • At least 1-3 years building production ready React SPAs • At least 3 years Ruby on Rails experience • At least 1 year experience with Restful API'S • At least 1 year working with Github pull requests and code reviews • Engages in TDD as standard practice • Experience building, maintaining and improving a React component library
