About the role
Role : Sr. React Engineer Location : Austin (Remote is ok) Duration: 6+ months As a Front End Engineer, you will be directly responsible to • Build functionality interfaces that connect to the backend. • Work with design, product, and engineering to execute product vision. • Take ownership of your work from prototyping, development, testing, and deployment. • Be a subject matter expert on the front-end application and the things you have built. • Document key architecture decisions, development, and deployment plans. • Contribute ideas to product roadmap and priorities. • Contribute improvements to the agile development process. Front end stack • React • Redux • Axios • Lodash • Tailwind CSS & Tailwind UI Back end stack • Python • Postgres • Solr • Django and Django Rest Framework • AWS Education and experience: • Experience building high-performing React applications required. • Expert knowledge of the React lifecycle, state management, and hooks is required. • Experience working with restful APIs and integrating with React applications required. • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred • Knowledge of Single Page Apps in React is required. • A keen eye for design and a desire to build beautiful user experiences are required. • Experience building a front-end react application from scratch preferred. • Redux knowledge preferred. • 4+ years of relevant/professional experience related is preferred.
