React Native Developer

Title: Sr React Native Developer Duration: 6+ months Contract to Hire/Contract Location: Remote to Onsite in Eden Prairie, MN Client: Optum (UHG)

W2 Only During COVID it’s REMOTE

Job Description:

React Native Role(s) – Mid-Sr. Project Scope / Business Driver: Brand new project to delivery functionality – “Protect Well”. There is an existing code base, but the Agile team is being brought in to delivery new features for users. There are still some decision being made about state management as well as the RN APIs they will use, and this resource may have some participation in that process.

High-Level Individual Duties: Features & Functionality (anything on the backlog or sprint) / Unit testing (there is a separate team that will do QA, but they HAVE to be strong with Unit Tests

Must Haves:

• React Native experience in iOS and Android apps • Modern JS (look for things like ES5 / 6) / React / HTML / CSS • Azure (at least 1 year / 1 project in Azure, but general cloud skills are a must for this role) • CI/CD – Jenkins & Git • Strong communication and ability to work independently

Nice to Have:

• Basic skills in .NET / C#

Development Methodology: Agile – 2 weeks

JD: React Senior Software Engineer (ProtectWell) 2 total I’m looking for a mix of half straight Contract and half Contract-to-Hire across these 2 and the 3 full stack ProtectWell openings These positions are for engineers to be part of an application development team working on the ProtectWell product.

The work involved will include some combination of the following: Mobile app development with React Native React development Native public cloud (Azure) development CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance (using IaC) Integrations with external systems

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with React • 1+ years experience with ReactNative • 3+ years experience with Javascript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure • Experience with .NET (Framework and Core) • Experience with API development • Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc…) • Experience with cloud engineering using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc…) • Experience with unit testing frameworks • Experience with relational and no-sql databases
