About the role
Role:React/UI developer Location:Onsite in NYC from day one Duration:6+ months contract Note: Should be willing to take IKM test/Assessment test Willing to relocate to NYC from day one Interview process: 1)IKM test 2)30 minutes interview with the client(1 round to hire) MUST HAVES: 5+ years of React/UI Experience Agile CI/CD Jest Testing Experience working within an agile environment and familiar with release and testing tools Excellent communication skills and self-starter mindset Job Description: Developer - Software Engineer to provide application leadership and support to internal applications and integration support to vendor-built applications. The role requires technical knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and demonstrated skills in JAVA and Angular. Responsibilities include: • Secure Application Development • Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs • Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software • Mentor and provide technical leadership to teammates • Engineer Web Pages, Core Components and Common Services in alignment with development models, languages, and standards • Produce Design Documents • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments • Debug and document existing systems through code analysis • Contribute to Application management activities such as Business continuity, SDLC activities, technical refresh support, critical surveys, analysis, platform releases, patching, vulnerabilities, and system management support for Technology mandates • Ability to work effectively in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment Project Details Initiative: This team is supporting Wells Fargo’s Wealth Investment Management (WIM) line of business to built a new platform from scratch for account opening and money movement. There is an existing platform built in older Microsoft tech stack that will be replaced with an open-source solution. Environment: Working within an Agile environment. The team will work in a collaborative environment doing daily stand ups, white board sessions, etc. The end goal is to have 4+ pods supporting the initiative.
