Required Skills: SalesForce.com Lightning VisualForce Apex 6 months + extension Contract position One of Apex’s global financial and investment client’s business units has recently embarked on an end-to-end transformation aimed at delivering best-in-class experience for their clients and advisors by reimagining their platforms, workflows and policies.

The client is looking for a senior Salesforce.com developer to join a strong technology team on CRM development projects. The long term strategy of Salesforce/ENAGAGE/CRM for the line of business is to develop a mission critical application that supports the full range of services provided by the business unit and supports the activities critical to maintain these relationships. We have several business critical initiatives for our CRM platform that cannot effectively start or move forward due to the current staffing levels and high reliance on offshore development resources. Furthermore, we expect more regulatory related requirements that will result in numerous enhancements to existing applications. We require competent in house resources that will help us implement application systems for user experience, scale, resiliency, operability, extensibility and performance. Additionally, the position must be filled at this time to maintain timely execution of remediation efforts.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The developer works with technical teams and senior architects to finalize architecture specifications, and creates design as it relates to the customization and/or integration of a CRM system. They possess a strong understanding of Salesforce.com and have strong experience coding in APEX, Lightning, and VisualForce. They have strong verbal and written communication skills and are knowledgeable in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#, and SOAP/REST-based web services. • Ability to learn new information quickly • Lighting development experience • Salesforce.com technical certifications are good to have (Platform Developer I and more) • Skilled with data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems • Strong capabilities performing independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast paced environment • Ability to follow an agile or iterative software development methodology • Experience with one or more version control tools • Excellent unit testing abilities with strong attention to detail • Web application tools and JavaScript technologies like jQuery, HTML 5, CSS, AngularJS • Familiar with web and application server technologies like Apache, Tomcat, and so on • Basic database skills (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, No-SQL) • Familiar with web services (SOAP, REST)

Education: BS/BA/MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
