This is a long-term and hybrid engagement. Candidates must be local and willing to work 3 days a week on-site in Trenton, NJ. We're seeking a Senior Level resource with specialized knowledge & experience in application development (requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing & implementation) with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object-oriented programming & Client Server. Responsibilities:Designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. Liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements.Architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications.Develop and code solutions to specificationldentify and implement appropriate testing strategies.Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.Participate in a self-directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements.Experience Required:(7)+ years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming, and Client Server technologies.Experience in the Salesforce declarative environmentHands-on experience with Salesforce configuration experienceSalesforce Developer or Admin track certificationsAbility to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical peopleAbility to think outside of the box and design innovative solutionsExperience documenting application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.Experience identifying and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies.Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end states and deliver a solutionAbility to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clientsExperience with Salesforce Web Services APls - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APls, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API STRONGLY PREFERRED.Agile development experienceExperience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JavaScriptBachelor's degree or higher
