About the role
Role: Salesforce Developer 6 months contract to hire 100% Remote, Must have skills/technologies:Salesforce with SFCApex and lightningRest services knowledgeRest Services and SOAP (some legacy code)Must understand object oriented programming (exp with one or more programming language)Clearance needed/Certs needed:Salesforce developer cert or admin cert would be preferred - verify validity of cert Needs to do a Glider test. Responsibilities: Must demonstrate ability to perform all requirements and show continued progress on job functions.With direct guidance of a senior staff member, develop software for break/fix and business requests by studying information needs; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.Design, modify, develop, write and implement software-programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.Begin to enhance technical knowledge and capabilities to develop an improved understanding of systems and technologies.Implement changes by working with more senior staff according to IT design and coding specifications.Will be involved in the integration, testing (unit), maintenance, and operation of the systems.Knowledge of delivering robust, scalable enterprise applications and is responsible for analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality; supporting the design and development of application features; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.Assist with the development of system documentation and technological innovations to drive our solutions for the client.Must possess working knowledge of various programing languages.May act as project lead or receive work assignments from designated project leaders.Analyze, design, develop, document and test application programs and system components of a medium to complex nature.Knowledge of the major peripheral systems that work in conjunction with assigned applications.Must be able to work multiple projects concurrently and shift priorities as required to meet business requirements and deadlines.Work as the highest level technical expert, acting as an internal consultant for all tasks in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of assignments.Ensure appropriate company and departmental Change Control and operational procedures are followed for all production-related updates assigned changes.Job duties as assigned. Qualifications:Minimum of two (2) years experience in SalesForce Development with FSC Minimum of two (2) years experience in Applications Development / Application Delivery PipelinesHands on Experience in Apex, Test Class, Integration with REST and SOAP based API's, Lightning ComponentsExperience in the use of programming languages and development tools that are required for the project.Preferred Qualifications:Scripting languages such as, Python, Ruby, Bash, or PerlFunctional and/or OOP programming languages, (Java, jQuery,JavaScript,NET, VB.NET, Classic ASP)Cloud based hosting solutions (AWS-EC2/ECS, Azure, Google Cloud)Developing automation workflows and routines, using Open Source ToolsLarge-scale software implementation (high transaction volume, high-availability concepts)Windows, Linux, server automation and scriptingSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I Thanks & Regards Syam B, 630-923-6952 syam@thoughtwavesoft.com
