Job Description:

The Data Administrator will work in the data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation to develop, maintain and support an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data sources, including SAP Business Objects and Informatica.

In addition:

Troubleshoot and tune existing data warehouse applications. Assist in creating new or enhanced components of data warehouse. May need to instruct and guide those with less experience.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Monitors daily Informatica and Talend ETL (extract, transform, load) jobs, checking and resolving errors and assist in identifying and resolving issues • Provides assistance to end users and programmers regarding data warehouse related problems and issues • Monitors Tableau and BusinessObjects server environments to ensure the maximum uptime and performance of the tool sets • Adds new users to BI tools according to the EDW security policy to new projects • Develops monitoring mechanisms in his/her responsible environment to prevent unnecessary downtime • Assist developers in a responsive and polite manner for performance issues related to their projects • Acts as team lead for environment upgrades in Tableau, Talend, BusinessObjects, and Informatica • Effectively communicates pending system changes to user community in a clear and concise manner • Monitors scheduled BusinessObjects and Tableau extracts / reports and notifies developers • Performs exhaustive troubleshooting for system related issues. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and six (6) years of related experience required. • Experience administering SAP Business Objects and Tableau Business Intelligence tools in a Windows environment, including user and group security • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter Server in a Unix environment, AIX preferred, and the Informatica client in a Windows environment including upgrades and regular maintenance. • Experience administering Talend Server in a Linux environment including upgrades and regular maintenance
