Job Title: SAP MDG Consultant Location: Chicago, IL - (2 to 3 Days Onsite week) Duration: 12 Months – Extend Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Techno Functional Consultant to support Master Data Governance initiatives across SAP landscapes. The consultant will work closely with business users, IT teams, and offshore AMS/support teams to ensure high quality master data solutions and effective governance processes. This role requires a strong mix of functional MDG expertise, technical understanding, and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate is proactive; detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities: • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine master data requirements. • Translate business needs into complete, feasible, and well vetted SAP MDG requirements. • Act as a quality gate for requirements before they are handed off to offshore AMS/support teams. • Support and troubleshoot SAP MDG processes including change requests, workflows, validations, and approvals. • Identify and recommend use of standard SAP MDG capabilities to improve data quality and efficiency. • Analyze impacts of master data changes across SAP systems and downstream integrations. Required Skills & Experience: • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). • Experience in one or more master data domains: Material, Customer, Vendor, and/or Finance. • Techno functional skillset with solid understanding of SAP master data and governance concepts. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot issues end to end. • Experience working with offshore AMS or support teams. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both business and technical users. • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA MDG environments. • Exposure to data governance, data quality, and SAP transformation programs.
