About the role
SAS Developer Remote (CST) 6 month contract Project Scope: Provide solutions / develop & maintain apps for Finance & Accounting teams. There are some other apps for different groups, but not much.
High-Level Individual Duties: Monthly Financial Close process for Medicaid community & state LoBs Automated processes + Manual intervention points from users 50% Automation & Developing ETL / Reporting Programs – 30-40% Exploratory Analysis The work with the business as well as execute on the request Potential move from Hive to Hadoop or Teradata (might not be a part of the work for this resource)
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): SAS – used to push and pull from different RDBMS (Oracle / Teradata / Db2 / Hadoop / Hive – POCs in Snowflake etc.) Strong SQL Skills Reporting – w/in SAS – Power BI would be nice ETL / Data Ingestion experience (Python preferred)
