We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our modernization initiative at DTCC. This role focuses on end-to-end testing of enterprise services for channel integration, leveraging distributed architecture, reusable components, and cloud migration. The ideal candidate will have strong automation experience in Java, Selenium, REST Assured, and SQL, with the ability to test both UI and APIs in a dynamic Agile environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend services and UI components. Collaborate with developers during sprints to ensure parallel test coverage for new features. Perform API automation using REST Assured and UI automation using Selenium. Validate messaging flows and integration points across Kafka and IBM MQ. Execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Work with existing automation frameworks and tools (e.g., ALM) for test case management. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality standards and best practices. Support cloud migration testing and ensure compatibility with AWS-native architecture. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing with strong Java programming skills. Hands-on experience with Selenium and REST Assured for UI and API testing. Solid understanding of distributed architecture, microservices, and API-driven communication. Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ). Proficiency in SQL for database validation (Oracle/Postgres). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have: Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale applications. Knowledge of AWS cloud services and Postgres migration. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
