Job Title: SDET Location: Remote Required Skills: Python, Selenium, SDET, Flask micro framework, Flask Blueprints, Angular The Role Everything starts with our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer in test who can support our digital technologies in multiple ways such as automation testing, CI / CD build out, analysis, and application development. The outcome of this role will elevate the efficiency and speed at which Fidelity not only delivers stable products but delivers quality to our customers. The Expertise You Have Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience 6-9 years of Software Development or proven experience desired 6-9 years of Software Quality Assurance or proven experience desired Skills and Knowledge Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience is preferred Experience with trading or financial applications are preferred with a practical understanding of brokerage applications highly preferred Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to changing business needs Proficient in the software development lifecycle - FSDM and Agile Understanding of Dev Ops principles and strategies as well as how to apply them to multiple SDLC models is helpful Accurate SDL standards including code review and documentation Tools: API Tools (Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, or other open source tools), Selenium (preferred), Eclipse, Jenkins, Git repositories, Source-Tree, and Docker Languages: Python (strong experience, Python 3 preferred), Flask micro framework (preferred), SQLAlchemy experience, Flask Blueprints (preferred), Javascript, jQuery, Java, Angular, AngularJS, and VBA (preferred) Database Dialects: DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, and MongoDB (preferred) Cloud Platforms: AWS preferred, Azure, and PostgreSQL The Team You will be joining the Workplace Investing (WI) Data Engineering and Exchanges Quality Assurance team and will help in training, mentoring and leading your squad in all things related to the quality of their code. You will also help your fellow Quality Engineering chapter members in supporting industry leading standard methodologies and innovation for their automation and code quality. We are looking for an innovator with passion for teamwork and collaboration and has a creative approach to quality and a strong technical background in designing, building and maintaining strong automation frameworks at both the database and API levels.
