About the role
Job Title: SDET Location: Remote to start Project Scope / Components: Our backend team is currently looking for a mid-level Automation Engineer to help us automate testing and release activities of several of our cloud-native backend services for our large and ever-growing application. We want to provide functional support to all services on our platform, and the needs are ever-growing, as we adapt to new requirements and capabilities. A successful candidate would be self-driven and excited to learn, test, and deliver distributed software systems. He or she will have a keen technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and enjoys achieving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Currently, our primary language used for testing is Java with Serenity for E2E testing. Development Methodology: Agile High-Level Individual Duties: Understand the requirements and develop E2E test cases for the cloud/backend -microservices. Collaborate with associates and task out the requirements with stories Creation of automation scripts using Automation frameworks Writing test cases for reusability Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): Java – needs to be a hands-on developer (OOP skills) Working w/in Automation Frameworks (documenting test cases after talking to stakeholders) One of Serenity, Cucumber SQL DB DevOps – basic experience, Jenkins, Git etc. Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools): Spring framework, Spring boot, Apache JMeter Cloud basics & principles (Azure) Thanks&Regards, Kiran Tumuluri IT-Recruiter Staffing | Thought wave Software and Solutions Limited 6308125139kiran@thoughtwavesoft.com www.thoughtwavesoft.com 314 N.
