About the role
ROLE:SR.SDET ARCHITECT
DURATION:12+ MONTHS CONTRACT LOCATION: 3X A WEEK CHARLOTTE,NC
Required Skills : • Proven track record of designing and implementing quality frameworks for software development. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles. • Expertise in continuous integration and tooling (e.g., Harness, GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions). • Expertise in software automation, test management, and bug tracking (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jira, Rally, Zephyr). • Proficiency in performance testing (e.g., Load Runner, JMeter) is a plus. • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a long-term quality vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals. Define and implement quality standards, metrics, and key performance indicators. Design and implement a robust quality framework that covers the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Establish processes for requirements gathering, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment. Integrate quality checks into automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD). Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing. Identify and adopt appropriate testing tools and methodologies to ensure optimal test coverage. Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams. Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to foster a culture of quality. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to quality engineers and testers. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize quality initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
