Job Description: Working with a dynamic, research-oriented Financial professionals on several ongoing concurrent projects, you are expected • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges • Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data • Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns • Build predictive and statistical models and machine-learning algorithms • Combine models through ensemble modelling • Present information using data visualization techniques • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes Collaborate with engineering groups and product development teams to operationalize the models and techniques. Requirements • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field • 10+ years’ practical experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics • Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis using Python/Java, R, SQL etc. • Expertise in data munging with Excel, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (i.e., Java/Python, SAS) • Proficiency in understanding various data structures and common methods in data transformation. • Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills. • Good Understanding of machine-learning and operations research • Excellent communication and presentation skills Good to Have • Experience working with Financial data model will be an asset • Familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset • Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks • Understanding of data solution on AWS and GCP.
