Senior Engineer

Position :Senior Engineer Duration: 12+ months Location: Remote Project: Apex Systems is assembling a scrum team to develop a new product within the healthcare sector. This innovative product is designed to streamline the workflow, enabling consumers to effortlessly fulfill prescription orders. We are seeking skilled API Developers to join our dynamic team. As an API Developer, you would be responsible for integrating APIs that power our application. Your expertise in API Development, Node.js, and Typescript will be crucial in ensuring a seamless integration. Responsibilities: Design and develop APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. Integrate APIs from various vendors into a facade pattern to serve the front-end side of the application. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement effective solutions. Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and well-documented. Optimize API performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance API development practices. Requirements: 7-10 years Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development Strong experience in API development. Familiarity with cloud platforms, with preferred experience in Azure. Experience with test driven development and unit testing using Jest. Experience with Swagger and Open API specifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure cloud services Familiarity with Jira and GitHub Actions for project management and version control Previous experience working on projects involving integration of APIs across multiple vendors.
