Senior Java Developer

Role- Senior Java Developer Duration- 8 Months Location- Pittsburgh, PA Required Skills Summary of Requirements (what it will take to get the fill): 7+ years of overall Java Development experience. 2-3+ years of Spring Boot/Microservices Strong Database skills (can be either SQL Server or Oracle) 2+ years’ of Banking or Financial Services related industry experience (the more the better) Must have some experience on UI (React or Angular) but they don’t need to be an expert or high level UI – key is back-end and API (Spring Boot) layers. Technologies also must be strong in: Junit, Mockito & AWS Lambda The Expertise you have Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) and 7-10+ years of overall software development required. 7+ years of demonstrable experience in implementing Java solutions. 5+ years working in an Agile Scrum environment, with ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams. 5 years experience incorporating Junit Testing. 3+ years of Oracle/SQL Server Relational Database Experience and strong understanding of SQL. 5+ years of Spring technologies including 2 years’ of experience developing Spring Boot applications. 2+ years experience with Mockito. 2+ years of experience with AWS Lambda. 2+ years’ of banking or financial services experience required. Practical experience delivering and supporting modern web and data solutions. Experience in REST based web services development for Spring Boot applications. JIRA and Agile tools related experience preferred. Experience in top down development of REST based API’s using Open API Specification. Proven experience in JAVA Programming Language (Java 1.8+) Strong programming, debugging and secure software development skills (e.g. Veracode, Sonar etc.). Understanding of CI/CD: Jenkins, GIT and Maven, Concourse.
