Role:Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

Location:New York, NY (240 Greenwich Street) and requires four days onsite per week. Duration:12 Months

Must Haves: 10+ years of software engineering experience (this is a hard requirement) Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL Messaging technologies - Kafka, MQ, etc. Oracle Database Expertise in supporting financial services applications (Capital Markets products are highly preferred) Key Responsibilities • Full Stack Application Development: Design, develop, and implement application components for the Global Funds Control platform using Java-based technologies and modern web frameworks. • Requirements Analysis & Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to fund accounting and NAV lifecycle processes and translate them into scalable technical solutions. • System Architecture & Enhancement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the GFC application by implementing new features, workflows, and performance improvements. • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Lead and support UAT activities by addressing stakeholder questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful validation of deliverables. • Production Support & Incident Resolution: Provide production support by investigating and resolving application issues, managing incidents, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize operational impact.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of full stack development experience • Strong expertise in Core Java and Java-based application frameworks • Experience with Angular for front-end development • Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ • Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks • Experience working with Oracle databases • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows • Proven experience working in Agile development environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders • Bachelor’s degree required
