About the role
Role- Senior Network Engineer Duration- 6 Months Location- 100% remote Skillset (top 3-5): Senior Network Engineer: 6+ years of experience in an enterprise network support Experience with network management systems such as SolarWinds Experience supporting enterprise wireless (Cisco / Meraki) Junior Network Engineer: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in enterprise network supports Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco-based networks 2 years of experience with Cisco ISE Official JD: Design, deploy, and maintain network monitoring and tools Implement and maintain operational automation tools and practices Perform network troubleshooting and participate in incident response and escalation process Work with other teams to build cross-functional capabilities around network toolsets Define, document, and adhere to technical and operational standards based on ITIL framework Requirements: Minimum of 6+ years of experience in enterprise network support Experience with network management systems such as Solarwinds Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco-based networks Familiarity using virtual machines in a VMWare ESX environment Preferred Qualifications: Cisco certification (CCNA / CCNP) Experience supporting enterprise wireless (Cisco / Meraki) Experience supporting SDWAN, or software defined networking Network automation technologies such as Python and Ansible Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field Responsibilities: Design and implement network-based security solutions within the enterprise network area of responsibility Help develop secure processes, procedures, and templates to enhance security in network operations Perform network troubleshooting and participate in incident response and escalation process Work with other teams to build cross-functional capabilities around network toolsets Define, document, and adhere to technical and operational standards based on ITIL framework Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in enterprise network support Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco-based networks 2 years of experience with Cisco ISE Familiarity with common security technologies and concepts such as firewalls, digital certificates, VPNs, AAA, IDPs Preferred Qualifications: Cisco certification (CCNA / CCNP) or Security+, Network+ Experience supporting enterprise wireless (Cisco / Meraki) Experience supporting SDWAN, or software defined networking Network automation technologies such as Python and Ansible Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
