About the role
Position: Senior Cloud Engineer. Duration :6-month contract to hire. Location :100% REMOTE! ONLY ON W2 Job Description: • On this team - data is the product. We're working to make Optum's unmatched repository of healthcare data available to the data scientists, analysts, and medical professionals that use that data to improve healthcare and medical outcomes. This means building pipelines to acquire data, constructing data warehouses and lakes, and integrating data storage with notebooks, query engines, and platforms for high performance analytic jobs. This also means handling data security and governance in an environment where protecting customer data is always mission critical. Must Haves: • 5+ years professional experience in a technical role (software developer, infrastructure admin, DBA, etc.) • 3+ years in AWS • 3+ years of experience with Terraform • Experience with cloud networking • Experience with cloud security • 3+ years of experience with Parquet, Hive, Spark • 3+ years of experience with Scala / Python • Experience building data pipelines Nice to Haves: • Knowledge of healthcare data structure and types • Knowledge of Azure Data Bricks • Experience in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Experience with Snowflake __ _ _ Thanks & Regards, Suganya S / Jr.US IT RECRUITER Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
