About the role
Role: ServiceNow Engineer Duration: 6 Months Location: 100% Remote Required Skills : o ServiceNow (Discovery – plus) o Web APIs o Asset Management Basic Qualifications : o ServiceNow (Discovery – plus) o Web APIs o Asset Management Additional Skills : ServiceNow Certs HIGHLY PREFERRED - ServiceNow Admin, Engineer, or similar Job Description : Purpose of the role: • Develop requirements for future ServiceNow enhancements working with stakeholders in the business and IT • Act as a project lead on new module implementations • Advise on process decisions • Perform configuration and light development work • Create standards and policies to be used for CMDB Specific responsibilities: • Provide operational support for all environments within your technical group as well as escalation support for junior engineers • Proactively measure all environments within your technical group for adherence to enterprise standards and best practices and assist with remediation & optimization • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for technical design, implementation and problem resolution • Provide design guidance and support to business partners to enable optimal usage of selected technologies and solutions • Take action to introduce new technologies through documentation, training, recommendations, or proof of concepts • Develop and maintain scripts, automated processes and documentation for repeatable design patterns, to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time • Participate in the management of technical programs and projects through all phases of execution Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Asset Management. • Minimum of 3+year experience with ServiceNow Discovery (will be a plus) • Have strong functional knowledge and technical skills. • Experience integrating with tools to federate data into the CMDB, Asset management • Expert in IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes (including hardware and software) • Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation • Expert in IT Asset Management process & operational delivery • Familiarity with the following concepts: XML, JSON/script language, database. • Ability to discuss credentials, install a product, troubleshoot permission issues Preferred: • Scripting capabilities such as JavaScript, SQL • Integration Hub/Flow designer expertise -- Thanks & Regards, Krishnasree | US IT Recruiter Thought wave software and solutions 314 N, Lake St, Suite 6, Aurora IL 60506 Mobile:6305668710 Email: krishnasree@wavsols.com Website: www.thoughtwavesoft.com LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/krishnasree-kolla-7582a01a3
