About the role
Position: Data Engineer. Duration: 6 month contract to hire Visa: USC, GC, and GC EAD Location: 100% REMOTE, Job Description: Will be supporting the cloud data initiative – strategic direction to move on-prem data sources into the cloud. Cloud platform is Snowflake, the technologies that they currently have is: Talent – cloud ETL tool. Any sort of relational DB experience. Where that is needed is to take the data set from the source being on prem, SQL/oracle DB's and destination pieces and things like that. Must Haves: • Any RDBMS database experience (SQL Server, Oracle etc.) • Strong SQL experience • Talend, SSIS, Ab Initio. Informatica, Matillion, Python • Cloud technologies - AWS, Azure Certs / Exp. • Data acquisition experience API/REST/JSON Nice to Haves: • Experience with Cloud Data Acquisition technologies such as HVR, Striim etc. • Snowflake • Snowpro Core Certification Thanks & Regards Syam B, 630-923-6952 syam@thoughtwavesoft.com
