About the role
Role:: Sr. Snowflake DataEngineer
Duration: 6+ months Location:Remote
Day to Day:
This team is responsible for creating repeatable data pipelines for ingesting claims data from 10+ clients. Right now they are in the process of building out the first data pipelines, then will look to repeat the process for all clients Developing the data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory – will need to make tweaks for each client Will look to automate this process in the future – need someone who can think creatively about how to automate, increase efficiency of deploying new pipelines, etc.
Must Haves:
Snowflake Data Warehouse Expert Azure Data Factory – these are the core tools, non-negotiable, need to have strong current and most recent experience on resumes with both Azure/Azure Data Factory and Snowflake. Snowflake and Azure expertise is crucial! Other Azure modules they use are Blob Storage and Key Vault DevOps Communication skills – will be working with the Dublin team, need to have good communication, someone who is concise, self-starter, driven, etc.
Preferred: • Experience with data security, data governance, dynamic masking – there are a lot of restrictions about how this data can be used/moved due to HIPAA
Nice to Have:
Python coding experience Terraform experience Data modeling Healthcare claims data experience
