SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Position: Software Developer Location: 100% Remote – EST hours 9-5 Duration :6 months ONLY ON W2 Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will: • Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques • Write codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project • Build features such as web services and queries on existing tables • Understand performance parameters and assess application performance • Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice Education Qualification For roles in USA: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 2years Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise: • Experience with web services frameworks and related technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring boot, REST, JSON, XML • Experience with UI front end development technologies such as Angular, html, css, javascript, jsp, jsf • Experience with development best practices such as object-oriented design patterns, dynamic implementations, advanced data structures and algorithms, junit test suite. • Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle), database development (SQL, PL/SQL) and related technologies (such as ORM's - preferably Hybernate) • Experience managing and configuring web and application infrastructure including load balancers, Apache, tomcat, etc. • Experience with directory based technologies and LDAP • Experience managing and configuring Unix operating systems • Experience with common development practices including CI/CD pipelines, test automation, agile development, distributed version control, etc. • Experience with SailPoint IIQ application configuration, rules and framework knowledge a plus Business Acumen: • Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks. • Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team. • Displays understanding of the project’s value proposition for the customer. Shows commitment to deliver the best value proposition for the targeted customer. • Learns organization vision statement and decision making framework.
