About the role
Role:IAM Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid 2 days a week in one of the following locations: Boston, Richmond, McLean, Plano Duration: 6 month contract
· Financial services domain experience · Minimum of 4-5 years of IAM experience · At least 4 years of experience with IAM (access management/ governance control) · IAM control monitoring support · basic level scripting (Python, Java, SQL, Oracle)
· Job Details :
Primarily responsible for control monitoring and assessing failures. Will be responsible for communicating the technical issues and status to business end users and working as a clean line of communication and coordination with application teams and business teams. Will also be running meetings, providing context and scheduling, researching issues, and finding code errors. IAM teams own multiple controls – Termination monitoring, critical tasks to ensure IAM functions are up and running – These tend to fail, so they need folks to look at a que that’s filled with alerts (terms that didn’t go through, tasks that failed overnight, etc.) Being able to look at these and follow a run book (investigation first, coordination with application teams, open DOC/TOC? calls to triage with other teams internally w/Cap One and figure out what’s going on). Will work with the business teams to inform what’s going on – Need to effectively communicate what the issue is. Understanding of IAM best practices to ensure business continuity can continue.
