About the role
Title: Software Engineer II / Site-Reliability Engineer Location: Irvine, CA Cox Automotive Top 5 Must Haves: AWS experience, Error Budgets, GameDays, DevOps, Windows Servers 3+ Years of experience as an SRE - Build Automations - Continuous Development - AWS - Understand the Development/Programming side, but will not be writing any Code - Creating Error budgets, Gamedays - Creating Dashboards in Splunk and New Relic Qualifications: o Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3 years’ experience OR 7 years relevant experience. o 3+ years experience working as a site reliability engineer o Hands-on experience with various software languages: Python, C++, .NET, BASH o Working knowledge of cloud computing Services: AWS preferred o Experience with Infrastructure tooling: Terraform(must have), Cloud Formation, Powershell o CICD Tools: TeamCity, CodeBuild – Must Haves, GitFlow o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Proven ability to work with team members to deliver projects on deadlines. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience: o AWS Certification in Architecture and-or DevOps and-or SysOps o Source Control: GitHub Preferred o Experience with managing on prem servers as a Sys Admin.
