About the role
Role:Software Tester
Location:Linthicum, MD and can go on site 2-3 days a week/REMOTE Duration:Long term contract
Requirements
§ Bachelor's Degree (preferred) from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Ideally we just need a Software Tester that is comfortable with manual testing as they are not using any automated test tools at the time. § At least 3 years’ experience in testing mid or large-scale enterprise web applications involving system integrations. § At least 3 years’ experience in API and Web Services Testing, REST and security integration testing, application module testing & roles-based testing.
Skills / Experience / Responsibilities
§ Resource will support agile based application development activities (involving Salesforce CRM & .NET) including requirement analysis, functional and technical analysis as well as testing related activities. § Resource will develop and document test cases, testing plans and procedures in an agile environment based on the requirement documentations. Work with functional and business teams to clarify any gaps. § Resource will design and execute IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. § Resource will design and prepare all needed test data. Will also review test results and evaluates for conformance to design and requirements. § Develop and maintain automated regression and integration test plan for validation. § Resource will communicate test results and feedback with business, vendor & development teams. § Perform SQL queries in the SW applications to identify and validate test data.
