ROLE:Software Tester/QA Analyst LOCATION: Gllen Allen, VA-hybrid Complete Description: 3-6 years Experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester Contractor with a proven track record in identifying and resolving software defects. Specializes in developing comprehensive test plans, executing manual and automated tests. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Software Tester Contractor with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the enhancement of our software development lifecycle. Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber) is a plus. Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automated test scripts is a plus. Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
