We need someone who came from a java background and has worked with healthcare clients recently as a solution architect. They need them to be technical and have experience working with clinical data. HL7 and FHIR would be great.

EMR systems like Cerner and Epic would be great but aren’t necessarily needs/requirements. Solution Architect experience and knows Java systems and devops very well. Healthcare is also important. Applications Solutions Architect Digital Transformation Team Solution that the developer builds COTS EMR = CERNER (example) CERNER has frameworks to be able to use Medstar apps Example: Athena IDX Solve business problems, integrate apps / harmonize them so patient experience doesn’t feel disjointed Example: patient schedules an appointment, that schedule is done in one system Behind scenes demographic info sent to EMR When come in to be seen by physician, doc in EMR When patient, integrate with registration system and EMR Schedule and go back in and see results,,, 2 diff systems Arch to work with digital transformation folks to Using frameworks of different apps to build custom services to make Don’t expect them to be coding.. Expect them to understand what the Java Dev is going to be doing, and understand webservices, DevOps, have worked with devs, technically competent. Focus is primarily on bridging the gap on what users need, what apps can do, complementary solutions.
