Solution Architect

Role: Point of Sale Solutions Architect

Location: Cleveland, OH – 3 days onsite Duration: Fulltime

Must haves: Point of Sale, Architecting, Xstore or Omni

The Lead Solution Architect role is responsible for providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of comprehensive system/products. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating program or project challenges, creating conceptual and logical architectural designs that alleviate challenges, and providing technical guidance in implementing those designs. The Incumbent will ensure that solution architectures align with the overall Enterprise Architecture and meet business requirements.

Required Education -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of experience in experience in IT

Must Haves -8+ years of experience in IT or a solution architecture role -Proven experience in designing complex hardware and software solutions for large-scale IT systems -Expertise in collaborating, communication, and presenting with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact business solutions -Extensive knowledge of modern architectural patterns, frameworks, and industry best practices -Expertise with cloud computing, data center operations, network design, and security best practices -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to innovate and think creatively -Experience with retail business processes, which may include, Point of Sale, eCommerce, Order Management, and Merchandise Management. -Experience with Point of Sale and Order Management software applications, which may include, Oracle Retail Xstore, IBM Sterling Order Management, or the like. -Experience designing technology solutions using application containers within an edge computing architecture.
