Solutions Architect

Job title; Solutions Architect Location: Remote In this role as a Solution Architect on our Digital Technology team, you will serve as a respected technical leader and set the direction of our digital solutions supporting Uniteds Technical Operations team. Uniteds Technical Operations team is one of the largest Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations in the world. Our team continually innovates to deliver digital solutions to support this complex, dynamic operation. Principal Developers on our team are hands-on problem solvers focused on our most complex and interesting challenges and are as comfortable in code as well as in architecture. They are leaders who help to mentor, coach, and grow other developers. This role is looking for a full stack developer with strong experience spanning front-end development (React, Angular, Javascript, HTML/CSS), services development with C#/.Net Core, and AWS. Key responsibilities: - Leads the technical design, development, and planning for solutions and technology standards to solve complex business problems - Architect AWS-based as well as on-prem solutions and establish common design patterns to be used across the Tech Ops portfolio - Partner with Principal Developers to translate & execute the long-term technical vision and roadmap for the Tech Ops DT team - Hands-on development, support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions - Consult across multiple projects within the immediate porfolio to provide technical leadership and guidance - Ensure consistency and alignment to enterprise application and architecture standards and guiding principles throughout the application lifecycle - Provide technical guidance to developers in support of solution delivery Qualifications – Required - Bachelors in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field - 5+ years of experience as a lead developer, technical manager, or other leadership role - 7+ years of experience in .Net, .Net Core, C#, MVC - 3+ years of experience developing SQL/T-SQL objects (stored procedures, functions, views, etc.) - 3+ years of experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale design patterns - Demonstrated ability to optimize performance with complex datasets and usage patterns - Hands-on experience developing applications using a microservices-based architecture - Strong understanding of development best practices, design patterns, and standards - Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills - Proven track-record of ownership and delivery - In-depth applied knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.) - Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present ideas to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences - A passion for details and quality in delivery - Strong planning and organizational skills Qualifications - Preferred - Working knowledge or experience with MongoDB - Working knowledge or experience with GraphQL - Aviation or MRO industry experience or knowledge - Experience with MS Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps - Experience in front-end/UI development beneficial, but not required Thanks&Regards, Kiran Tumuluri IT-Recruiter Staffing | Thought wave Software and Solutions Limited 6308125139kiran@thoughtwavesoft.com www.thoughtwavesoft.com 314 N.
