Responsibilities

• Work with customers to troubleshoot configurations and code (Java, JS, Python, Go) • Support You Build; You Own environments via on-call production support rotation • Collaborate with diverse teams comprised of passionate, talented engineers • Learn, react, and adapt to our evolving market and emerging trends • Work with product owners to understand app capabilities and acceptance criteria • Continuously improve engineering process by pushing, and adhering to, best practices • Work within/across Agile teams to design, develop, test, operate full-stack solutions • Learn, evaluate, and recommend emerging tech that solves real-world problems • Mentor other engineers while participating in internal/external tech communities • Champion innovation, teamwork, self-organization, diversity, and inclusion

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree • 3+ Years experience using Splunk • 2+ Years experience interpreting metrics to diagnose operational issues • 2+ Years experience in a modern, object-oriented or functional language • 1+ Years experience with Agile processes • 1+ Years experience deploying to AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• • 3+ Years experience with distributed systems • 2+ Years experience shell scripting (Bash, KSH, ZSH) • 2+ Years experience as Splunk/Elastic admin or architect • 1+ Years experience architecting cloud environments (12Factor preferred) • 1+ Year(s) experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Artifactory • Certified Splunk Admin, Poweruser
