About the role
Role:Spring Batch Java Developer
Location:REMOTE Duration:Longterm Contract
Must Haves: Spring batch Back end Java AWS Cloud Strong nice-to-have: COBOL or legacy batch
HOW A PROGRAMMER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Plans, develops, tests, and documents highly complex applications programs. Generates new code and corrects, converts, and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications. Prepares detailed specifications from which code will be written. Prepares development estimates to within 5-10 % range of actual effort. Builds strong relationships with the other development teams. Performs a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problems. Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management as required. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced programmers, and may have supervisory responsibilities. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required.
What You'll Need TO Succeed

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years experience in Information Technology related to Programming. Experience with the following: JAVA Spring Batch General Batch - File and DB2/POSTRGRES processing DB2/POSTGRES/SQL GITFlow Jenkins

DESIRED SKILLS AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: AWS experience a huge plus AVA/Spring Batch Quality Center Experience with CMMI organizations General Cloud Processing understanding Sharepoint COBOL and other legacy experience not required, but would be helpful Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
