About the role
Role: SQL Developer
Location: Hybrid, Irving, TX Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Top Requirements:
SQL (SSIS, SSRS, stored procedures, queries) Data Warehousing (ETL, ELT) Property and Casualty Insurance experience Basic coding (Python or C is a nice to have)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years as a Developer Insurance industry knowledge is a plus
Technical Skills:
T-SQL, stored procedures Python, C development, SSRS, SSIS packages ETL processes using Python Potential future use of R Working knowledge of Python/C for code review Experience with on-prem to cloud projects is ideal
Nice-to-Haves:
Python proficiency Insurance knowledge C development expertise
Responsibilities
- Manage the data warehouse Code for data consumption from various sources Recent projects involved C development and Python Future cloud migration (Microsoft Azure experience is a plus)
