SQL DEVELOPER

Apex Systems is seeking candidates for a Remote SQL/SSIS Developer role. This is a contract position with an opportunity to convert full time. Please apply if you're interested in learning more. Responsibilities Design and enhance software applications under supervision of a manager or technical lead as needed. 90% Participate in other application development projects as assigned. 10% Education Required: Bachelor; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering Experience Minimum Qualifications (all mandatory): • ETL experience using SSIS in SQL 2016 environments • Microsoft Visual Studio 2016 and higher • MS SQL Server databases • Version controlling VSTS Required: Minimum of 4 years professional experience; expert in a specific skill set, business area or product, but remains focused primarily on daily execution. Relevant programming languages (e.g. Java, HTML, SQL), experience with application servers (e.g. WebSphere, Tomcat) and Windows OS. Ability to excel in a collaborative and matrixed team environment Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferred Proven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
