Additional Skills Job DescriptionAs a Mid-Level SQL Developer in our team, you will play a key role in developing and managing SQL Server and PL/SQL databases within a cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in Agile methodologies and experience with tools like JIRA for project tracking will be vital for our fast-paced and dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities and Duties: - Design and implement robust PL/SQL and SQL Server solutions in the cloud. - Optimize and maintain database performance in a cloud-hosted environment. - Ensure database security, integrity, and up-time. - Work within Agile framework to promote rapid and iterative development cycles. - Utilize JIRA for tracking and managing tasks, sprints, and workflows. - Understand and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle. - Proactively engage in the refinement, estimation, and planning sessions. - Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies within the database domain. - Integrate retail business logic into database design and setup. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server development and PL/SQL. - Preferred understanding of Agile development methodologies. - Preferred Proficient with JIRA or similar project management and issue tracking software. - Retail industry experience, with a strong grasp of retail operations and data requirements. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
